Natalie Ngan
BHB, MBChB, FRACS Plastic Surgeon
Natalie was born and educated in New Zealand. She graduated from the Auckland School of Medicine in 1999. She developed a passion for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and she became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2010.
In 2011, Natalie and her family moved to Toronto to spend the year working with world-renown Canadian Plastic Surgeons in the fields of reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery. Natalie moved to Melbourne in 2012 to undertake a cosmetic surgery fellowship at the Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery where she received a scholarship from the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
At the conclusion of these fellowships, Natalie accepted appointments in the Plastic Surgery Units at the Austin Hospital, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and Western Health. Her private practice is in East Melbourne and her main operating hospital is St Vincent’s Private Hospital located behind her rooms.
She continues to be involved in education, and enjoys training the next generation of plastic surgeons in breast reconstruction techniques.
She offers an empathetic and caring approach to her patients, and is a collaborative member of the breast team.
Natalie is married and has three children who keep her very busy outside of work.
