Hamish Farrow
Plastic Surgeon
Hamish is a Plastic Surgeon trained in Melbourne, whose practice is based around a specific interest in Breast Surgery, both reconstructive and cosmetic. He completed a Breast Fellowship in Vancouver, Canada, and is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Hamish’s practice encompasses the full breadth of both cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery and he has an active interest in education and the training of plastic surgeons. He travels widely to keep up to date with techniques from around the world, such as DIEP flap surgery, dermis graft, and the like. As a Plastic Surgeon, his practice is unusual, given that he does only breast work. He is particularly passionate about Breast Reconstruction. He is heavily involved in breast cancer reconstruction, and research into cancer prevention, and patient and nursing education in this important area of medicine.
Hamish operates at St Vincent’s East Melbourne (formerly Mercy Private), as well as Epworth Richmond.
Hamish Farrow is a father of four girls, (and husband to a fifth!), an enthusiastic fly fisherman, tennis and ice hockey player.
