Christina Foley
MBBS FRACS Breast Surgeon
Christina is a Breast and Endocrine Surgeon who has undertaken extensive subspeciality training in these fields. She attained her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008. She then completed breast and endocrine surgery fellowships at some of the most prestigious and respected institutions worldwide including St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, The Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA and the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK.
Since returning to Melbourne in 2013 she has been appointed as a consultant breast and endocrine surgeon at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne and St Vincent's BreastScreen, Victoria. She is a member of BreastSurgANZ and the Australasian Society of Breast Disease and has a particular interest in the multi-disciplinary management of breast and endocrine cancers, familial breast cancer and surgeon-performed ultrasound.
Christina also has a keen interest in surgical training and is appointed as the trainee supervisor for the BreastSurgANZ Fellow and Junior Medical Staff at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne. Christina consults and operates at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Fitzroy and East Melbourne.
When not at work, Christina loves being outdoors with her husband and 3 children, travelling, and spending time with extended family.
